By now, The Collins Family are pretty much regulars around ZEP. I made a comment during this session that I could basically use this family as a way to track my progression as a photographer, because I've been photographing them for nearly the entire life of their son, Ryder! They're always so much fun to be around, and it's been great watching them grow as a family!
I hope to continue to follow their progress and spend time with them behind and in front of the camera, for many more years to come!Read More
If ever there was a couple that wouldn't let a little thing like rain ruin their wedding day, it would be Andrew and Alexis. These two lovebirds took a tiny bit of rain and turned it into a magical, wonderful, incredibly fun day, filled with happiness and love.
I wish these two the happiest of marriages, and if their wedding day was any gauge for that, you can expect a lifetime of happiness for this wonderful couple! We were so blessed to be a part of their day, and hope that their experience with us was the same!
Head on through the jump for more photos from their sneak peek!Read More
You know it has to be a sign that a marriage is to be blessed when the rain stops falling the moment that the bride arrives at the venue, and starts back up mere moments after the final song plays its final notes, and the bride and groom ride off together into the night, hand in hand, madly in love.
Such is the story of Tim and Tessa, two wonderful people who had one of the most amazing weddings I've ever had the joy of photographing!
I cannot wait to finish digging through the rest of these images, and hope for the best for this amazing couple!

By now, Baby Hannah should be no stranger to anyone that has visited the site. That being said...good lord, talk about time flying! It seems like it was just yesterday I was taking this little munchkin's newborn photos and now you can hardly keep her still for 30 seconds to take her photos!
This was another marathon session, planned by Hannah's mother, and my wife (friends outside of ZEP), so we were able to get multiple costume changes, multiple settings, and even had time for a cake smash!
Hannah was a real sport, and a wonderful little doll to photograph. Hit the jump for more photos!Read More
Brett and Monica have a beautiful family, and it was such a joy to photograph them in the peak of the Autumn Colors. A quick trip to scenic Piney Run Park and we were on our way to making magic. Both of their kids were absolute joys, and it was nice to be able to capture the memories in the beautiful weather. This was the first shoot of the Fall, and certainly won't be the last, as we get into my favorite time of the year to shoot photos!
Follow through the jump to see more from our shoot, and if you're interested in booking your family photoshoot, please don't hesitate to touch base with me using my contact form!Read More
On a whim, I was bouncing ideas back and forth with Erica about the potentiality of shooting a Prenatal Yoga Maternity Session. Erica, having just become certified in Prenatal Yoga at Center Street Yoga was the prime candidate.
We talked back and forth for a few weeks before finally nailing down a date and time and then...just...went with it.
And what did we end up? Pure freakin' magic. Erica was an amazing subject. Relaxed, comfortable and worked so well with the camera. She really made it look like my job was easy!
Hit the jump for the rest of the photos, and please make sure you see Erica for all of your yoga needs.Read More
There must have been something in the water a few months ago, because it seems like there's been a rash of maternity sessions here at ZEP. I mean, not that I'm complaining. When you've got such great sessions like I've been having, it's tough to not want to shoot more and more maternity sessions.
Mike and Burcu were nice enough to drive over three hours to be with me on a crisp Autumn day. Our stage was the wonderfully beautiful McKeldin Area of Patapsco State Park, full of beautiful Fall trees (thankfully, as the leaves turned quick this year).
I'm very pleased with the final results and hope for only great things for these two, when their twins join them in a few months. Oh, did I forget to mention that they're having twins?!

Will has been making some serious waves with his company, vAuto Inc, and since he was getting ready to start a whirlwind tour of major parts of the United States, he needed a few new promotional images for posters, presentations and whatnot.
Will and I grabbed a few minutes together at a nice, peaceful urban setting and started to get to work. I was really pleased with the results, and think that we got some great images. Pop through the jump for more, and as always, if you're in need of photographic services, hit the "contact" link above, and drop me a line!Read More
Matthew and Miranda could not have asked for a more beautiful day to call their own, and a more beautiful ceremony to proclaim their love to one another in front of friends and family. The air was crisp and warm, and smiles were plentiful as these two declared their love for each other. They were both a blast to have in front of the lens, and it was a real joy to be able to steal them away from their guests for a few minutes to give them some memories that, I hope, will last them a lifetime.

Another adorable baby, and finally a little lady in a sea of baby boys! Baby Brenna was the perfect newborn to have in the studio. She was practically a limp dishrag when I got her in front of the heat and white noise, and we were able to shoot for an hour without so much as a peep!
Baby Brenna's parents are going to be great with her, and they're both truly blessed to have such an adorable baby.Read More
It's tough to not enjoy shoots like I had with little Camden, here. He's adorable, full of cute smiles, and at the time of this shoot, only a few days old! Camden's parents are a great couple, and they're going to be great parents! Better than just how great of parents they're going to be, Camden's parents are great friends, and I really look forward to our son becoming great friends with their son!

Astute followers of Zach Egolf Photography have probably already figured out that I'm a bit of a technophile. Leading the charge in that desire is Samsung, and their line of NX cameras and lenses. As I've mentioned before, I'm a big fan of their NX1100 and their prime lenses but one device of theirs has been my great white buffalo when it comes to camera equipment:Read More
I'm not going to steal Cambria's glory, here, but you should probably know that as of March 28th, this little lady will be hitting her "One Year Cancer-Free" mark! You can read more of Cambria's story here.
Cambria's mother informed me that she was planning on doing her part to help other children like her, and was going to be hosting a lemonade stand of her own, in honor of the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation. In order to help better promote the stand, Cambria's mother asked me to do a session with her daughter, and I have to say that I'm pretty pleased with the results. Cambria's such a trooper, and was an absolute joy to photograph. If you'd like to help her cause, you can donate here and once you've done that, click through to see more photos!Read More
You've not seen these two on the site before, but I swear that they grow a few years every time I see them! Landon and Logan have lived more in their one year on this Earth than most babies will live in their first 10 years. Both children are blessings to their parents, and you can just tell by watching them that they both know they're something special.
That being said, you can also tell by watching them that there's something slightly mischievous going on in their minds, so it was no surprise that these two took to a "Cake Smash" shoot like fish take to water!
These two were so much fun, and I'm so glad we were able to get some amazing reactions out of them both! Make sure to click through the post to see more photos from our session!Read More
Having know Jennifer and her family for a few years, now, I consider it an incredible blessing that she asked if I would shoot her marriage to her wonderful husband, Tyler. Knowing the family, I knew that I was going to be in for one of the more exciting weddings of the year, and their family and friends did not disappoint! Tyler, Jennifer, their friends and family truly exemplified the happiness that everyone deserves on their wedding day, and the two of them are going to live the happiest of lives together as husband and wife.

Kimberly and Michael presented me with a nice distraction from what ended up being the "Christmas of Newborns" that I went through in 2014. All-in-all, ZEP shot almost a dozen children (newborn and older) for the holidays this year, and sometimes it's just nice to have a little break with people who can actually speak your language!
Kimberly and Michael were looking for a fun, outdoor style shoot to use for the Christmas cards, so we went to one of my favorite spots for their session. The McKeldin Area of Patapsco Park offers some beautiful scenery, and some of these spots should look familiar from previous sessions.
These two were a lot of fun, and more photos from their session can be seen below.Read More
Baby Tyler might have been one of the most cooperative, playful and easiest-to-work-with newborns that I had the pleasure of shooting in 2014, and I think that really comes through in the photos. I'm also really lucky, in that I've also had the pleasure of capturing the moments that happened BEFORE Tyler was born. WAY BEFORE.
Lisa and Ryan have a real cutie on their hands, and they're both going to make great parents. My wife and I are very lucky to have their family as our friends, and I can't wait to capture many more memories of their family in the future.

With one session already under our belt, Baby Hannah demanded to be in front of my camera for a quick Christmas session, and I was more than happy to oblige. Hannah makes some of the best faces, and her folks are going to be in a lot of trouble when she starts breaking hearts and getting her way!
I look forward to watching this little gal grow up, and hope that we have many more sessions together!

Jackson's parents, Chris and Kristin, are both incredibly blessed to have a precious little guy like Jackson. Whether it's cuddles on the couch, or tales of future fishing trips, Jackson has a big, bright future ahead of him. Capturing this little guy was a lot of fun, because Chris and Kristin knew exactly what they wanted out of their session, and Jackson had no problem cooperating for the shoot!
